Vivo on Friday launched a younger version of its V9 smartphone in India called V9 Youth. The device is made to be cheaper than its predecessor and in that sense packed a lower processor, camera, and storage capacity.
The V9 Youth, however, looked exactly as the V9 on the outside and they even shared the same display (and the notch too!!) and battery capacity. The dual rear camera still remains ofcouse and the arrangement is the same, but the configuration has been lowered from 16MP+5MP to 16MP+2MP. So also is the front camera which now has 16MP sensor in place of 24MP sensor. Facial recognition for face unlock still works and AI beauty remains intact.

The V9 Youth inherits Android 8.1 Oreo from V9, has the same fingerprint sensor at the back, and is fuelled by a 3260mAh battery.
