Panasonic has introduced a new entry-level smartphone in India under its “P” series line-up. The device dubbed P100, is a 4G VoLTE enabled phone that supports most 4G network band in India. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner for smart security. Like most of the company low-end device, it also supports dual-SIM as well.
The P100 comes with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a HD (1280×720) resolution, protected with a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. A quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor clocked at 1.25GHz powered the hardware, coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720. Panasonic is also offering a 2GB RAM model for those who desire more. There is a 16GB of storage inside that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Moving on, the new Panasonic smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP autofocus camera at the back with a LED flash, while a 5MP selfie camera is equipped at the front, also accompanied with a LED flash. Apart from 4G VoLTE, other connectivity included are Bluetooth, WI-FI, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2200mAh battery.
The Panasonic P100 1GB RAM version costs Rs 5,299 (US$79), while the 2GB RAM version is priced at Rs 5,999 (US$90). It is available for purchase exclusively on FlipKart.
