It seems HMD Global is not done resurrecting the clasic Nokia 3310 as the company again announced a new variant of the feature phone in China. The exclusive Chinese version that was just unwrapped supports 4G VoLTE unlike the previous 2G and 3G models that were introduced last year.

The new Nokia 3310 4G features upgraded specs too. It packs a more powerful processor, higher RAM and storage capacity, and it is WiFi enabled with Hotspot supports. It however, runs Alibaba’s YunOS instead of Java operating system that were found in previous models. This makes it a smart phone rather than a feature phone.

The body design remains the same and so is the battery capacity, which is still pegged to 1200mAh. Regarding specs, it features a 2.4-inch QVGA (320×240) colour display and it is powered by an unspecified 1.5GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 256MB of RAM. The phone comes with a 512MB of built-in storage, which is expandable via a MicroSD slot provided.

The phone lacks dual SIM supports as it only comes with a single SIM slot. It has a 2-megapixel camera at the back with a LED flash that can be use as touchlight, but it lacks a front camera. Apart from 4G VoLTE and WiFi, the Nokia 3310 4G also supports Bluetooth and micro USB.
