The phone runs the dated Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with Samsung customized UI on top and also supports dual SIM. In optics, it sports a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera is equipped at the front. Disappointingly, the Galaxy J2 (2018) lacks fingerprint sensor and waterproof ability.
