HMD Global in late October at its scheduled event in New Delhi announced Nokia 2 for global market without revealing pricing and availability details for India, today, the company has officially introduced the smartphone in India and has also revealed the pricing of the phone for the said market.
The Nokia 2 which happened to be HMD Global cheapest Android smartphone at the moment will be up for purchase at online and offline stores across the country at a price of Rs 6,999 (US$105), starting from Friday November 24th.

Specwise, the device has a 5-inch HD (1280×720) screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and under its hood powering the other hardware’s is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. There is an 8GB of storage onboard that is further expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB.
In optics, the Nokia 2 sports an 8MP rear-facing autofocus camera with LED flash, while it bears a 5MP camera at the front. The phone is splash resistant certified with IP52 rating; offers dedicated dual SIM with dual standby, and is powered by a 4100mAh battery that can renders days of use in a single charge.
It runs Android 7.1 Nougat with Android 8.0 Oreo update supports. Connectivity options present includes Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPS, GLONASS, and FM radio.
Copper Black, Pewter Black, and Pewter White are the color options available for the Nokia 2.
