Katsina Abduction: Gov Masari Says 333 Schoolboys Still Missing

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State said 333 students, whose school was attacked by bandits are as yet missing.

Armed bandits attacked Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in the Kankara Local Government Area of the state on Friday, December 11, 2020, and purportedly left with many students.

While some have purportedly been rescued and returned to the school, hundreds are as yet missing.

Giving the real number of students that are yet to be discovered, Governor Masari said the school has a populace of 839 students and 333 students are as yet missing after the scoundrel’s assault on their school.

The governor said this when the Minister of Defense, Gen. Salihi Magashi (retd.), drove the country’s service chiefs on a compassion visit to the state on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Maari stated, “The youngsters so far captured cut across the state in light of the fact that the life experience school buildings all kids from all pieces of the state and some even from outside the state.
