Jurgen Klopp has aced out Hansi Flick and Marcos Biesla, the head coach of Bayern Munich and Leeds United respectively on the prestigious award.

The Liverpool head coach received the most votes from supporters, journalists, national team coaches and their captains after taking Liverpool to their first Premier League title.

Jurgen Klopp who was awarded the accolade on Thursday night, expressed shock saying, “I am shocked. I was sitting here because I thought last year I won it. I am here with my players. Thank you very much, wow”

Jurgen Klopp edged out Hansi Flick who everyone thought was going to be the winner after he led Bayern to a hat trick of trophies, including the Champions League.

Another candidate that earned rave reviews was Marcos Biesla, who had guided Leeds to the English Premier League.

Though both coaches had outstanding feats, but this is Klopp’s night.
