The deadly COVID – 19 which had caused total lockdown in the world and Nigeria included seems to have been reducing, with many countries adopting partial lockdown.
However, Africa’s most populous black nation seem to be going into the dark tunnel it had come out from months ago. With businesses still to revive, in a recessive economy. Now the government might be reimplementing the lockdown measures again.
The pandemic had recently caught some high profile members of the country, with Chief Justice of the country, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad already flown to Dubai for treatment, and also Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo – Olu, amongst those who tested positive to the virus recently.

The Governor had since placed Lagos state on another lockdown with all events slated to hold in the month of December now cancelled, and it now seem that other governors across the nation might be adopting similar protocols.

The Presidential Task Force set up by the Federal Government has now advised states across the country to follow in the line of Lagos state.
The Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 is advising States to do the following over next 5 weeks:
a. Close All bars, nightclubs, event centres
b. Close all restaurants
c. Restrict ALL weddings, conferences,, office parties, concerts, seminars, sports to no more than 50 persons
