Tottenham would go into the break with the 1 – 0 lead, but resilient Stoke City would equalize eight minutes into the second half through a goal from J. Thompson.

A buzzing second half would be quietened by a goal from Ben Davies in the 70th minute, with resilient Stoke City missing a chance to find the equalizer through Steven Fletcher’s miss.

Harry Kane would then settle the tie in the 81st minute to give Tottenham their first win in four games and send them into the EFL semi finals.
