Nokia 8 has been made official in India at a special event held by HMD Global in the country today. The phone, which was initially announced last month, will be available online exclusively on Amazon India and other select offline retail outlets across the region for Rs 36,999 ($555), starting from October 14th 2017.
The Nokia 8 is the company’s first Android device to comes with ZEISS optics, which is implemented in the phone dual 13MP rear cameras and 13MP front camera. Dual-Sight technology included let users use both the front and back cameras simultaneously to capture scene or record video and stitch it together via an inbuilt algorithm to make one masterpiece.

In addition, the smartphone has three microphones enhanced with Nokia acoustic technology for clearer details with minimal background noise while recording audio. Nokia OZO Spacial technology also let users record 360-degree audio using the mics, which can be shared on YouTube and other supported platforms.
The dual SIM variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is the one released in India today.
