However, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) had also reported that they have been a sink in global passenger traffic by 66% due to the fact that the Corona Virus outbreak made every country impose a travel restriction.
Before the travel restriction, the Dubai International Airport was known to be one of the busiest airports with international passengers and is also ranked the seventh busiest cargo airport in the world and ranked the busiest airport for Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 movements, with the highest average number of passengers per flight.
About 4.3 million Indians travel through the Dubai International Airport in 2020 making Indians the largest number of passengers to use the Airport in 2020.
