Since 2017 when Kelechi Iheanacho moved from Manchester City to Leicester City, it’s been some lukewarm level to his career, neither here nor there, majorly because of the role Brendan Rogers wants him to play, the players he has to compete with for a place in the team.
But the last three games have been really good for him as he has been on the scoresheet with the coach finally finding a working partnership with Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy.
On Sunday, when Leicester City welcomed struggling Sheffield United to the King Power Stadium, it was Iheanacho who opened the scoring in the 39th minute, before he went on to score two more goals in the game, which turn out to be his first hat-trick in the premier league, after six years in the league.
