Parents of Abducted Kaduna Schools Students have given the federal government and El-Rufai 48hrs Ultimatum

Twelve days ago, kidnappers stormed the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and abducted about 39 students both male and female.

The parents of the abducted students on Monday, March 22, had a press briefing before protesting at the premises of the school, it was during this press briefing that the parents gave the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, and the federal government a 48-hour ultimatum to bring their wards back home.

The spokesman of the parents, Comrade Friday Sanni said, they do not think enough was being done by the government to rescue their children. According to Sanni, “It is now 12 dark dreary days since the unfortunate incident happened and we as parents have not received any positive message from either the school management, the Minister of Environment under whose ministry the school is or the Kaduna State Government under whose territorial jurisdiction the school is located.

This silence is unacceptable as it only feeds our hopelessness with each passing day.
