Vodafone has released a new smartphone for its prepaid and postpaid customers in the U.K. Dubbed Smart V8, the device features a 5.5-inch LTPS display with full-HD (1920×1080) resolution and pixel density of 401ppi, protected on the surface by 2.5D Dragontrail glass.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform with a clock speed of 1.4GHz, clubbed with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. A 32GB of storage is placed inside and there is a MicroSD slot on the outside to further expand the storage up to 128GB.

The Vodafone latest offering, Smart V8, runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back for smart security. In photography, the device is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear-facing autofocus camera with twin-LED flash, while it harbors an 8-megapixel fixed-focus camera at the front for selfie.
Connectivity options onboard includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, and GPS. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
The Vodafone Smart V8 is up for grab for £160 on Big Value Bundle pay-as-you-go plan or at £23 per month on contract.
