ZTE has yet again made another addition to its “nubia” smartphone series after unveiling nubia M2 Lite last month. The new device dubbed nubia M2 Play is not as powerful as nubia M2 but it is well above nubia M2 Lite in terms of specifications.
As could be expected, it is wrapped in a metal body that is slightly curved at the edges and there is a curved glass protecting the main screen which accommodates a 5.5-inch display underneath with HD (1280×720) resolution. A 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 clocked at 1.4GHz drives it on the inside, slammed with a decent 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU.

Moving on, the smartphone comes a 32GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat buttered with nubia UI 5.0 and inside the battery compartment is a hybrid dual SIM slots, both of which are switchable to 4G LTE.
In photography, the nubia M2 Play houses a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens is pinned to the front for taking selfie. Apart from 4G LTE other connectivity loaded on the device includes Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is turned on by a 3000mAh battery.
ZTE is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of its nubia M2 Play smartphone.
