Newly admitted candidates of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife that they are to accept their various admissions by paying their acceptance fee of Twenty thousand Naira (N20,000.00) before interacting with their pages on the E-portal.

Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU acceptance fee payment procedure for 2022/2023 academic session has been released for the newly admitted undergraduate students.
Latest News Update: OAU Acceptance Fee payment portal has been activated and you can start paying on the e-portal.
How To Pay OAU Acceptance Fee 2022
First, you need to make sure you have been admitted on JAMB CAPS portal and on the school portal.
If not, go back and check your name on both portals here.
Confirmation of admission on the OAU website shall commence with the payment of non- refundable acceptance fee of N20,000.00 (fresh students only).
Once the admission is ascertained, such candidate should to log on to University eportal using their JAMB Registration Number as “Username” and surname as “Password” and follow the instructions for payments and registration as laid out.
Candidates should then proceed to select payment activity and then choose the Type of Payment (Acceptance, Main Charges, Accommodation….) and indicate Mode of Payment (Bank Branch / Transfer/Master Card i.e. ATM) in order to link the payment to REMITA.
If Bank Branch is selected, download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and use it to pay by cash in any BANK OF YOUR CHOICE that accepts cash payment to REMITA.
If either TRANSFER or MASTER CARD is chosen, supply the additional information to effect the payment.
Please, note that you can access the University e-portal anywhere to effect your payment in any branch of the Banks nearest to you or you can pay online.
Payment Closing Date/Deadline
The deadline for payment of acceptance fee is 10th of February, 2022. All payments must be made on or before this day.

Before you can apply for bedspace, you have to make all payments including school fee + development levy.
If you have paid acceptance fee, you still need to pay the other 2.

It’s not true you have to pay all fees before it shows approve.
Each payment should be approve immediately you pay them if you used MasterCard to pay online.

There is no late acceptance fee. You have to pay before the deadline.
But it show that approved and addition of money was included then like #300

I saw the PDF too Daniel. Take note that the portal is not yet open and no official statement has been made by the school. When so many of the trusted school social media PROs claim it is true, the fresher login portal is not working yet and that makes the news false. I will update you as soon as an authentic news is published.

No, it was not used as part of the screening exercise documents last year.

The fact of the matter is the payment portal is not opened and nobody has been able to pay yet. Not as of today Sunday February 9th, 2020. The registrar’s office made a mistake sending out February 10th deadlines without checking with IT dept to see if the portal is opened.
The portal has now opened since 3 days ago now. In fact, I have paid acceptance fee for someone.
