Samsung has officially launched 2017 edition of it Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones in Europe with faster chipset and improved front cameras. These are powered by octa-core Exynos processors which is quite an upgrade compared to what were packed in their predecessors.
The Galaxy J5 (2017) comes with the same screen size and resolution as Galaxy J5 (2016) but its battery is a bit smaller, downgraded from 3100mAh to 3000mAh. The Galaxy J7 (2017) on the other hand features same 5.5-inch display as the former but its resolution has been downgraded from full-HD to HD. It is however compensated in power sector, boasting a huge 3600mAh battery, that is an additional 300mAh capacity compared to what Galaxy J7 (2016) had.

Both smartphones runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box; sports 13MP front-facing cameras, and harbors fingerprint scanners beneath the home button.

The Galaxy J5 (2017) is priced at €270 ($304) while the J7 (2017) costs €339 ($381). The first will go on sale in June and the second in July.
Samsung also brings Galaxy J3 (2017) to Europe. The phone was released in U.S last month.
