The Amazon Fire Phone was officially launched two months ago, and now its first update is out.

There have been minor complaints about some certain areas regarding the smartphone, which we believe the update is here to correct and make right with additional juicy features.

The new update include a multitasking mode called Quick Switch, which allow users to double tap the home button to access Quick Switch Menu. The new update also improve battery life and upgrade the lenticular photos which now allow users to select up to eleven images instead of the default three. Other new features that comes with the Amazon Fire Phone update include App Grid Collector, that enable users to arrange and group apps together.

If your Fire Phone device has not yet received the update, simply go to settings and check “install system update”.
