The Florida-based phone maker BLU today added a new mid-end to its “Vivo” phone collections. The new smartphone called Vivo 8L, is boldly highlighted in the camera sector, packing a 20MP front shooter with various software enhancements such as Beautification+ for applying smoothening whitening beauty effects when taking selfie. There is a front LED flash for lightening dark scenes during selfie as well.
The Vivo 8L is wrapped in a metal body and it housed a physical home key beneath the display with a fingerprint sensor embedded on top. The phone features a 5.3-inch HD (1280×720) 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It includes a 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a MicroSD card.

There is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with Sony IMX258 sensor and LED flash that is capable of recording 1080p video. The Vivo 8L runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box; offers Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), 4G LTE Cat.4, 3G, 2G, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options, and is backed by a hefty 4000mAh battery with fast charging.
