Burnley’s match against Fulham on Sunday at the Turf Moor has been postponed due to cases of COVID – 19.

This comes after a similar situation which involved Tottenham, with Tottenham head coach, Jose Mourinho commenting about the situation even going on Instagram to cause a roar due to the way the announcement was made.

Fulham had then made a request to the Premier League board regarding their health condition, with the board taking a decision at the eleventh hour to call off the game.

Several clubs at the time appeared to be unhappy with the decision especially as some of them had been forced to play 2 games in three days.

The Premier League have released an official statement as regards the postponement of the game.
