The popular Nigeria Disc jockey DJ Cuppy was born into a well-to-do family in Lagos, her grandfather was the former Governor of Lagos State in the person on Sir Micheal Otedola and her father turned out to be one of the most successful businessmen in Nigeria by name Femi Otedola who is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Femi Otedola is the chairman of Forte Oil plc, and also into importation of fuel products, his wife Nana Otedola who is DJ’s Cuppy mother is a Managing Director of Garment Care.
