LG has introduced a new budget smartphone exclusively on Cricket Wireless in United States. The LG Spree as named is priced at $89.99 USD and will be available starting today (Friday) at authorized Cricket retailer outlets across the region.
In terms of specifications, the device features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. It offers single SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system topped with the company’s UX. Diving in, it is driven by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor clocked at 1.1GHz, alongside with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.

An 8GB of built-in storage onboard can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. At the rear, the LG Spree houses a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while it sports a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, also accompanied with a LED flash. Connectivity options supported are 4G LTE Cat.4 (up to 150Mbps), Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 3G, 2G, GPS and Micro-USB. It is powered by a 1,930mAh battery that can deliver up to 13 hours of talk time and 234 hours of standby time.
Other features included are Knock On, Knock Code, Quick Memo and Easy Home. The device measures 131.8 x 66.8 x 8.89mm and weight 120 grams.
