The known U.S watch maker and designer Fossil, has announced a new smartwatch dubbed Fossil Sport. The watch is the company’s first to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100, with Google’s WearOS running on top.
The watch looked stylish yet simple – it has a circular OLED display with two press buttons on the either side of the crown dial at the right. It comes in two case sizes, 41mm and 43mm, both offering interchangeable brackets that can accept any 18mm and 22mm straps, respectively.

The Fossil Sport has an inbuilt heart rate sensor for heart rate monitoring, and it also have inbuilt GPS and NFC as well. The WearOS it runs brings Google Assistant along for fast access to information and accessibility service. Google Fit is not left behind for health coaching and exercise.
Moreover, Spotify and Noonlight comes pre-installed to cater to some of your smart needs. Other apps were also pre-installed but were not mentioned. The Fossil Sport is compatible with smartphone running Android OS or iOS; the pairing is done using Bluetooth connectivity.
Fossil revealed that its new smartwatch can deliver a day of usage time when in smartwatch mode, or up to three days of usage time in battery saving mode. The 350mAh built-in battery can be charged using the watch magnetic charging feature which also supports Rapid Charging.
Fossil will be selling the watch globally from November 8th through its official website. It costs $255 USD.
