Tiwatope Savage (born 5 February 1980), is popularly known as Tiwa Savage. She is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born in Isale Eko. Tiwa savage hails from Isale Eko in Lagos Island, Lagos State.She became the first woman to win the best African act at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Early Life
Tiwa savage relocated to the UK at age 11. She started her music career when she turned 16 where she was a backup singer for popular artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige. She also participated in the X-factor, UK.

Tiwa Savage relocated to Nigeria and in 2012 she signed with a popular record label, Mavin Records. In 2013, she released the “Once Upon A Time” Album. The album did well with hits like” Kele Kele Love”, “without my heart” and other hit songs. The album did so well that it was nominated for the best album of the year in the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. In 2015, she released another album R.E.D. In June 2016, she signed a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation. Tiwa Savage made Africa and Nigeria proud in 2018.
