The show’s sixth season, Big Brother Naija: “Shine Ya Eye”, premiered on July 24, 2021, featuring 22 housemates.
We will also be telling you everything you need to know about each of them.
Organizers stated at a press conference on Monday that the Big Brother Naija 2021 housemates would be revealed to viewers on July 24th.
The BBnaija opening ceremony, on the other hand, took held across two days, on the 24th and 25th of July.
People in the diaspora can watch the event on the web and vote via apps that will be revealed at the event.
The show will be on for a total of 72 days.
1. Angel
Full name: Angel Agnes Smith
“My name is Angel, and it is appropriate because I am a goddess.”
Angel, a writer, and poet, enjoys writing, watching movies, and, most all, sleeping. She sees herself as a nice, easygoing person who enjoys telling stories. If she’s not dancing in a club, she’ll be composing poetry on the beach.
Angel is a strong feminist who is known among her friends as a drama queen. This 21-year-old enjoys meeting new people and enjoys analyzing them. She believes that participating on Big Brother Naija will help her kick-start her career in writing and cinematography. When she’s not under duress, she thinks she’s “beautiful and also humorous.”
2. Arin
Full name: Arinola Olowoporoku
Multi-faceted Arin is a 29-year-old Pisces millennial feminist who grew up in a polygamous household in Lagos. She is a fashion designer as well as an independent arts and culture curator who is passionate about promoting Africa’s current visual arts.
She describes herself as “having no filter most of the time” and is an emotional, strong, creative, opinionated, and shamelessly vocal person. She wants to be in the Big Brother house because she believes it is a platform designed just for young people like her to develop and come into their own.
Arin is eclectic, has a lot of piercings, and dyes her hair blue.
3. Beatrice
Full name: Beatrice Agba Nwaji
Beatrice, a 28-year-old fashion model, and aspiring actress is the single mother of a five-year-old kid. She studied marketing at the University of Port Harcourt and graduated with honors.
Beatrice believes she was “made with a particular clay” because she doesn’t understand how she can do the things she can without learning how to do them.
4. Boma
Full name: Boma Akpore
Boma of Big Brother Naija season 6’s first competitors. Boma, 34, was raised on the streets of Yaba, Lagos, by his single mother and grandmother. He recalls his boyhood as “very difficult,” owing to the fact that he had to work to pay his way through school. One of the most difficult decisions he had to make was to drop out in his last year because he couldn’t make ends meet, but his life’s high point came when he saved enough money to pay for film school, an accomplishment that was overshadowed by his graduation.
Boma believes himself “exceptional” and characterizes himself as “attractive, clever, adventurous, strong, and fit.” He makes ends meet by working as a bartender at night and a masseuse during the day while pursuing his acting career.
Having had bouts of melancholy when his marriage collapsed and after sustaining an injury during football tryouts, he is resolved “never, ever, to give up”
5. Cross
Full name: Ikechukwu Sunday Cross Okonkwo
Lagos-based Cross identifies himself as “a dirty kid with a good heart,” a fitness enthusiast, and entrepreneur. Despite being single, this 30-year-old isn’t scared to offer relationship advice, believing that many people are unaware that communication is the key to a successful relationship.
Cross can be seen playing drums or getting hype on the mic on an Amapiano or House tune when he is not watching movies, traveling, or clubbing.
He sees himself as a fun-loving, impulsive person who dances with his heart on his sleeve.
6. Emmanuel
Full name: Emmanuel Umoh
Emmanuel, the first Nigerian to win Mister Africa, comes from Akwa Ibom but now lives in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he owns and operates a fitness center as well as a unisex salon and spa.
This 24-year-old, who describes herself as a risk-taker, enjoys traveling, connecting with people, and trying out new and unusual ideas. Emmanuel is a risk-taker who believes in making the most of every chance, and he considers his physical and social characteristics to be assets that draw a lot of attention to him.

Jackie B is a proud single mother who works hard and enjoys life. She is a licensed event and wedding planner and attended university in the United Kingdom, where she gave birth to her son. The 29-year-old enjoys having fun and spending time with the people she cares about, as well as having alone time. She identifies as a “introverted extrovert” who claims to be shy but confident.

9. Liquorose
Full name: Roseline Omokhoa Afije
Roseline, a professional dancer, acknowledges that she doesn’t get along with people who talk too much, even if she enjoys meeting new people. She describes herself as a “down-to-earth go-getter” who is also tomboyish but can glam up when necessary.
Roseline, 26, enjoys singing, cooking, reading, and writing, in addition to her acting and fashion entrepreneurship skills. The 26-year-old was formerly a video vixen, but her love of dancing led her to her current position as the leader of a lady dance company. Roseline takes time to travel despite working hard every day to provide for her family and loved ones.
10. Maria
Full name: Maria Chike Agueze
Maria, a 29-year-old former air hostess who now works as a realtor, enjoys cooking, working out, hiking, acting, and dancing. Maria takes pride in being a caring, kind-hearted person who is always eager for new experiences. Except for Antarctica, her adventures have brought her throughout the world and to every continent.
People are often surprised by her severe side when they cross her or take her for granted, despite the fact that she describes herself as “a symbol of love in human form.” “When I am completely insulted, I can become irrational.”

11. Nini
Full name: Anita Singh

12. Niyi
Full name: Adeniyi Lawai
Niyi is a 33-year-old computer engineer from Oyo State. Though he was once in the running to be a professional basketball player, that ambition was quickly quashed when he sustained an injury, leading to sciatica.
He still enjoys playing basketball and working out, and he is experimental when it comes to trying new foods, which he enjoys both eating and making. He is also a voracious reader, an aspiring writer, and a fan of board and card games, for which he holds a gaming license.
Niyi is a husband and father who describes himself as “optimistic, spontaneous, and adventurous,” as well as “energetic.”

Princess Francis, a 30-year-old e-hailing service driver, and business owner is a 30-year-old e-hailing service driver and business owner. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching movies and lives in Abuja. She prides herself on being a likable, compassionate, and entertaining person, while she admits she may be a touch dramatic at times. She claims, “I inherited the drama from my mum.”
Princess is from Imo State, and she considers purchasing her first car to be the highlight of her life. Her lowest point, on the other side, was learning that her father had died.

16. Saga
Full name: Adeoluwa Okusaga
Saga, a 28-year-old offshore engineer from Lagos, is currently stationed in Port Harcourt, yet he has discovered a new interest for sketch art and has become known for his hyper-realistic portraits. After being astounded by the tremendous sensations his work elicited, he decided to devote his efforts to practicing painting.

17. Sammie
Full name: Samuel Jacob Alifa
Sammie is a 26-year-old amateur filmmaker and Ahmadu Bello University final-year student.

Saskay is a 22-year-old bookworm and extrovert. She likes all kinds of music and considers herself to be “an incarnation of art.” She views a good time in her life to be discovering her talents and skills and using them to impact others and better her persona while attempting to find her place in the world.
Despite being suspended from school in 2015, Saskay is thriving as a fine artist, winning awards like “Model of the Year” and “Female Personality of the Year” at her university.
She enjoys dancing, cooking, and meditating, and believes that her personality was tailor-made for a reality show like Big Brother Naija.
19. Tega
Full name: Tega Dominic
Tega is a 29-year-old mother who enjoys dancing, traveling, DIY, and photography. Tega can be seen swimming or being the life of the party when she isn’t doing any of the above.
Her “limited circle of friends” portrays her as easygoing and a brilliant cook — a claim she disputes – and she describes herself as extroverted, enthusiastic, and passionate about the things she enjoys. Tega is constantly eager to learn and views challenging situations as opportunities to learn and improve.

20. Whitemoney
Full name: Hazel Oyeze Onou
Whitemoney, a multitalented individual, characterizes himself as an open-minded “jolly pleasant person” who enjoys having a good time. Driving, hustling, watching movies, and making music are some of his favorite pastimes. The Enugu State-born businessman and entrepreneur, 29, says he has a strong aura and that his “swag speaks for itself” in Lagos.
His life reached a pinnacle point recently when he launched his designer shoe import firm. Whitemoney, who is down to earth but strategic, is optimistic that his positive view on life will carry him far.
He wants to amuse, have fun, be exposed, and potentially win the grand prize while in the Big Brother Naija house.
21. Yerins
Full name: Yerimene Abraham Saibakumo
“A perfectionist, creative genius, lover of art and poetry rap music,” says Yerins, a medical doctor. He considers himself a renaissance man who is not limited to a single profession or vocation.
The 27-year-old loves to sketch, play chess, listen to music, and create it. In the near future, he also intends to create a medical book. He describes himself as a fun-loving, creative, and inquisitive person, and claims that his inquisitiveness has helped him gain expert knowledge in a variety of industries, including modeling and digital animation, as well as fashion design.
The highlight of Yerins’ life was when he graduated from Ukraine’s Medical University and saw his parents for the first time in years.
22. Yousef
Full name: Yusuf Garba
Yousef, a Secondary School Teacher, is 29 years old and sees himself as a “soft-spoken, fun-loving, down-to-earth go-getter.” Yousef enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and sports in addition to being a big foodie.
