Google has partnered with General Mobile, a Turkish-based phone manufacturer to introduce a new Android One powered smartphone in Turkey named GM 5 Plus. The phone wears a price tag of TRY 899 (roughly $305 USD) and will go on sale across the region in coming days.
The GM 5 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, protected by Corning Gorila Glass 4. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. It includes a 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Notably, the General Mobile 5 Plus runs Google’s latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the back accompanied with dual-tone LED flash, while it bears a 13-megapixel camera at the front with a single LED flash placed at its side for best selfie shot. Connectivity options onboard includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C. A 3,100mAh battery turn it on. Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is also included as well.
