How to check your BVN on MTN, Airtel, Glo, and 9mobile
Before you utilize this service, double-check that the line you want to use is the same one you used to register the BVN. You can’t check your BVN on an Airtel line if you enrolled with MTN.
After it has been formed, you may check your BVN using the following simple steps:
- To check your BVN, dial the USSD code *565*0#.
- Dial the USSD code *565*0# from your phone dialer.
- Wait for the 11-digit number to appear.
- Make a note of the number.
You have the option of copying it for immediate use or saving it for later use. However, the service is not free, and the transaction will cost you 20 naira. People who can’t afford to give telecoms N20 every time they check their BVN should save their money for later use.
An error warning appears when you use a phone number other than the one you used to register your BVN.
