The HTC Desire 516 is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) enabled phone, with dimensions of 140x72x9.7mm and weight of 160 grams.
The Desire 516 features a 5-inch qHD LCD display with a screen resolution of 540×960 pixels, it runs the dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean out-of-the-box. There’s no word about the device receiving a software upgrade in the future.
The HTC desire 516 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is 4GB internal storage onboard, which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The Desire 516 sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, and there’s also 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard.
Connectivity options on the HTC Desire 516 include WiFi with Hotspot, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB and FM radio. It is backed by a 1950mAh Li-ion battery.
The HTC Desire 512 is available in two colours – White and Black, and can be purchase via online retailer stores at a price of $222, the Desire 516 is officially unavailable yet.
