The Taiwanese phone maker HTC, has set loose a new high-budget smartphone in Japan named as J Butterfly HTV31. The phone is exclusively launched on mobile carrier KDDI with full specifications cast on their webpage, however, pricing and availability details are not included.
The J Butterfly HTV31 is expected to launch as J Butterfly 3 globally but there is no confirmation from HTC regarding this. Specwise, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super-LCD 3 display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with Sense UI.

Much like previous J Butterfly series, the J Butterfly HTV31 is waterproof and dustproof which earns it IPX5/IPX7 certification. It is driven by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The phone bears a 32GB of internal storage with external storage support via MicroSD card (up to 200GB). It sports a 20-megapixel duo camera with LED flash at the rear while it is equipped with a 13-megapixel front camera with Eye Experience innovation.
On the connectivity front, the J Butterfly HTV31 support 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3G (HSPA+), GPS/A-GPS, and NFC. It is powered by a 2,700mAh battery.
The device will be available in Blue, Red, and White color variants.
