The new HTC One (M8) companion is here, ready to blow your mind. The Taiwanese tech giant company HTC has launch a new high budget smartphone, the HTC J Butterfly.
The smartphone possess most of the specs present on the HTC One (M8) with additional features and it’s here to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2a. The device is launched exclusively on a Japanese telecom operator KDDI, and will be available before end of August. Pricing details has not be revealed, and there is no word on availability outside Japan.
The new HTC J Butterfly features a 5-inch Super LCD display with a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, overlay with the company’s HTC Sense UI.

The J Butterfly by HTC is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, slammed with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual LED flash, and 5-megapixel secondary front-facing camera for selfie shot. It offers Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, NFC, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS and GLONASS as connectivity options.
The HTC J Butterfly is waterproof and dustproof certify with IPX5 and IPX7 certification, and will be available in three colour variants – Rouge Red, Canvas White and Indigo Blue. It is backed by a 2700mAh battery.
