The rumours are finally over, after much tease that got us overwhelmed, HTC has finally launched its next-gen HTC One M8 successor, the HTC One M9. Though much of its specifications has been predict in the past which turns out to be true but HTC still got some things onboard that impress us.
The One M9 still retains its predecessor look though much, BoomSound speakers still remains in their position but has got more juices with Dolby Surround System. It measures 144.6×69.7×9.6mm and weigh 157 grams. A 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super LCD3 display with 441ppi pixel density occupy the front space which is protected by Corning latest Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

Android 5.0 Lollipop governs all internal activities which is further enhanced by HTC newest Sense 7 UI. The new UI gives users more control and tools in customizing the interface to their liking, users can create their own theme, change icons, use their own fonts and wallpaper. Under the hood, the HTC One M9 is powered by an octa-core (4 cores Cortex A57 at 2GHz + 4 cores Cortex A53 at 1.5GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) processor topped with Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
At the rear, the budget sports a 20-megapixel autofocus camera with 4K video recording capability while it is also equipped with a 4-megapixel front camera that is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos. 32GB built-in storage is onboard for multimedia files and apps installation which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity options included with the HTC One M9 are 4G LTE Cat.6, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi with Hotspot, DLNA, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/EDGE, FM radio, GLONASS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2840mAh non-removable battery with fast charging technology.
The HTC One M9 will be available starting from March, its price ranges from $640-$680 for unlocked SIM free version and $200-$250 with 2yrs contract on mobile network carrier. We will let you know when it set sail in Nigeria
