HTC has silently launched a new high-budget smartphone in China dubbed as One ME. The phone is listed on the firm webpage while availability and pricing are yet to be disclose. Global availability is not known as well.
The HTC One ME and recently launched One M9+ are identical in terms of specifications and design, the differences that seperate the two is One ME has dumped the metallic body and goes for plastic, and also it doesn’t possess a depth view secondary rear sensor which the second has.

Specwise, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch IPS display with QHD (2560*1440 pixel) resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with HTC Sense UI.
Diving in, the One ME is driven by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795T (Helio X10) processor clocked at 2.2GHz alongside with 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of built-in storage which is expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB).
The fingerprint sensor is still onboard layed below physical home button. A 20.7-megapixel autofocus camera take hold of the rear area while there is an ultra-pixel camera at the front.
Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. It is backed by a 2840mAh battery.
Though the One ME doesn’t looks premium on the outside, it has a decent specifications on the inside. We expect its pricing to be well below that of One M9+, but won’t you miss the premium feel?
