Huawei Maimang 8 Arrived to China with Kirin 710, Triple Rear Camera

Maimang 8, successor of the last year Maimang 7 (a.k.a Mate 20 Lite) today was unclad by Huawei in China. The smartphone features a 6.21-inch LCD display with Full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, paired with 6GB of RAM and Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.

128GB is the only storage option provided, but it can be expanded via a MicroSD card up to 512GB. Running the software is Android 9.0 Pie enhanced with EMUI 9.0. At the rear, the Maimang 8 comes equipped with triple camera; the main camera uses a 24MP sensor, this is followed by a 2MP depth camera, while the tertiary camera is an 8MP ultra- wide angle lens.

At the front of the phone inside the waterdrop notch resides an 8MP camera for taking selfie. The Maimang 8 have Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom, and there is a fingerprint sensor located at the back for biometric authentication. It has hybrid SIM slot that accommodate two SIM cards at a time or one SIM card and a MicroSD card.

The phone offer Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi, Dual 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPS and GLONASS as connectivity options. It measures 155.2×73.4×7.95mm, weighs 160 grams, and is fuelled by a 3400mAh battery.

The Maimang 8 is themed in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colors. Pre-order starts today while sales will begin on June 12th in China. It costs CNY 1899 (US$274).
