This included 100 million euros that would go to Inter, of which 40 were going to be used to compensate the previous purchase of Achraf from Real Madrid.
With the rest of the money, Inter also intended to sign N’Golo Kanté. They also contemplated the loan with option to buy of Luka Jovic.
All this management was reportedly done when the Argentine’s agents travelled to Barcelona to meet with the club. But they stopped over in Madrid on their return, a moment that Los Blancos used to seal the deal.
However, a few minutes after, the ‘Sky Sport’ journalist, Fabrizio Romano, assured that Inter hadn’t received any offer nor had any agreement been reached.
In fact, the Milan side said remarked that the Argentine forward has been off the market since the moment that the clause that allowed him to leave for 100 million had expired.
The possible arrival of Lautaro to Madrid would have dealt a new blow to Barcelona, who have been the most interested in his signing for months.
