The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the official cut off marks for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The board also disclosed that candidates who did not score up to the required UTME cut off scores of an institution are not eligible for admission into that institution.

The board has set the general cut off mark for all government universities (state and federal) as 160. This is the minimum score to gain admission into any public university in Nigeria.

JAMB CUT OFF MARK FOR PUBLIC POLYTECHNICS AND COLLEGES OF EDUCATION

The cut-off mark for all government Polytechnics and colleges have been placed at 120. That is, if you do not score up to 120 in JAMB, you won’t be able to secure admission into any public polytechnic.

Private institutions are not left out, as the board has also set cut off marks for them too.

JAMB CUT OFF MARK FOR PRIVATE POLYTECHNICS

To secure admission into a private polytechnic, a minimum score of 110 is required. That is, the cut off mark for private Polytechnics is fixed at 110.
