The National Security Adviser, to the President, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.), has revealed that the President, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), will come up with different solutions to the violence currently getting worse in parts of the country very soon, in fact “in the next couple of hours.”
He however did not disclose what the solutions will be or look like but he said that all parties concerned will agree to it.

Monguno said this in an interview with State House correspondents present at the venue of the meeting after the National Security Council meeting that was presided over by the President.
He said, “The President himself, I have just left his office, is also going to deal with these issues in a specific manner apart from what has just taken place in the council.
“I believe in the next couple of hours, Mr. President will come up with certain solutions that will be agreeable to the entire federation.”
President Buhari has however not addressed the country yet almost 48 hours after the Lekki toll gate killings and this has made many Nigerians very angry and disappointed
