A new mid budget Karbonn phablet has set sail in India, the Platinum P9. The device is priced at Rs 8,899 ($143 USD) and can be purchase on third-party e-commerce website Snapdeal.

The Platinum P9 features a 6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The phablet is powered by a quad-core MediaTek chipset with a clock speed of 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM
