Lenovo has launch a new KitKat smartphone in India, the A536. The phone will start hitting shelves as from Tuesday at a price of Rs 8,999 (approx $150). The phone can also be purchase from the company’s online store.
The dual SIM Lenovo A536 features a 5-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 480*854 pixels. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, and comes with 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.
Under the hood is a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM. The Lenovo A536 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the A536 comes with Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPS, and MicroUSB. It is backed by a 2000mAh Li.ion battery, rated to deliver up to 300hrs of standby time.

The Lenovo A536 is available in two colour variants – White and Black.
Last month, Lenovo launched one of the cheapest octa-core powered smartphone in China, the Golden Warrior A8. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and featured 5-inch HD display and 4G LTE connectivity.
