LG has launched an upgraded model of its G6 flagship in South Korea with improved storage capacity. Dubbed G6+, the smartphone comes with a 128GB of internal storage compared to the former which only has up to 64GB of internal storage. In addition, the latest release supports wireless charging that is based on Qi standard. Other specs however remains the same.
Along with the new G6+ the company also introduced 32GB storage version of G6 in the said region, painted in two new colours, Marine Blue and Terra Gold, in addition to Mystic White, Ice Platinum and Astro Black that were already on ground. It is worth mentioning that the newly unveiled G6+ also comes in entire different colours—Optical Marine Blue, Optical Terra Gold, and Optical Astro Black.

LG also revealed that it will release software update via OTA for both device (G6 and G6+) that will brings onboard lots of new additional features such as “Motion Recognition” that will enhance the power of facial recognition, enabling users to unlock their phone without turning the screen on; Lens Blind Reminder that will notifies users of possible hand or finger blockage during photo capture when using wide-angle; Automatic Voice Recording that auto records incoming and outgoing voice call audio, and fine volume control for adjusting the volume when using Hi-Fi Quad.
To cap it all, the G6+ comes bundled with a free B & O Play earphones. It also has a B & O logo at the back below the fingerprint sensor.

The G6+ and G6 32GB version will be available from next month on three major domestic network carriers in South Korea. No details on pricing yet.
