LG today officially announced its next-generation mid-end version of its G6 smartphone called Q6, boasting some of the properties of G6 itself. Unexpectedly, the firm also launched two additional variants bearing the Q6 branding, Q6+ and Q6a.
Outwardly, all the three device looks alike, they also has nearly identical specs besides the difference in their RAM and storage capacities. Just like G6, the Q6, Q6+ and Q6a features Full-HD+ FullVision display layed inbetween bezel that is very minimal in dimensions, flaunting an aspect ratio of 18:9. These phones however, are powered by octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipsets which is less efficient when compared with Snapdragon 821 that powered G6.

In a statement released, LG said the Q6 is made of ultra-strong 7000 series aluminium which is one of the strongest aluminium alloys used extensively in other industries. The Q6 and its subordinate are pocket-friendly in size, weighing just 149 grams. There is a single 13MP camera on the back that blended well with the back casing, eliminating bump, and there is a 5MP wide-angle camera at the front for selfie.
The LG Q6, Q6+ and Q6a cameras features some of the functionality of G6 camera, including Square Camera mode, Food mode, GIF mode e.t.c. Android 7.1.1 governs all softwares activity of these device and there is LG’s proprietary UX 6.0 onboard for better user experience.
