LG X Series Smartphones Brings Dual Display and Dual Rear Cameras To Mid-End

The Korean tech company, LG, has takes the wraps off two new budget smartphones under its newly created X series portfolio, X Cam and X Screen. Both are expected to be showcase at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week where their pricing and availability will be announce.

On the other hand, the LG X Screen features dual display, a small 1.76-inch display layed above a larger 4.93-inch display, both of which are touch sensitive. LG first makes this type of screen setup in V10, its flagship smartphone that was launched in October last year. Much like edge display in Samsung latest S series, the secondary display (1.76-inch) give users quick way to access, read and maintain notifications as well as launch and control certains apps such as music player without turning on the main (4.93-inch) display, thereby saving lots of battery power.
