The luxury phone manufacturer Vertu, has launched a new premium stylish smartphone called Astra. The device body is made of titanium and its screen is protected by 117 carat sapphire crystal, its most notable features.
Astra comes in different bright colourful leather finishes, and its price ranges from £4,200 to £6,000 depending on selected colour brand. The smartphone is available in six colour variants which are Blush Calf, Caviar Karung, Cognac osterich, Lagoon Calf, Raspberry Osterich, and Tangerine Karung.

Specwise, the Vertu Astra features a 4.7-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080) display touting 473ppi pixel density, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Astra is driven by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It houses a 13-megapixel rear snapper certified by Hasselblad, and there is a 2.1-megapixel camera at the front as well. Under the hood is a 64GB of built-in storage without external storage support.
On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, NFC, and Wifi 802.11ac. It packs in a 2,275mAh battery, which the firm claims can last up to 15 hours 30 mins on normal use.
The Vertu Astra also comes with Qi wireless charging and features Dolby Digital Plus surround system.
