Meizu has launched PRO 6, its latest flagship smartphone and the successor of PRO 5 introduced in September last year. It has a 5.2-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 3D Press technology that auto perceive the pressure apply when tapping the screen. This feature enable a user to activate or launch certain menu or program depending on pressure (s)he applied when tapping the screen. In addition to this, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and there is a Gorilla Glass protecting the back panel as well.
While the screen size has been downgraded from 5.7-inch to 5.2-inch, the smartphone experience an upgrade in processing power. Sitting on the inside is a 64-bit deca-core (10-core) MediaTek Helio X25 (Cortex 1.4GHz x4 + Cortex A53 2.0GHz x4 + the Cortex A72 2.5GHz X2) processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The PRO 6 comes in two storage versions, 32GB and 64GB, both accompanied with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It still maintains the sleek metal built and has a fingerprint sensor embedded below the physical home button now govern by mTouch version 2.1 software, an upgrade from version 2.0 in its predecessor. The phone runs Flyme OS 5.1 based on Android 5.1 and support dual SIM functionality.

A 21.6-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, Laser Auto Focus, PDAF and twin-tone LED flash is equipped at the rear, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The rear camera can record video in 4K and the front camera in full-HD. In connectivity aspects, the PRO 6 supports Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac dual band, 4G LTE + VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, and USB 3.1 Type-C. It is fuelled by a 2,560mAh battery with fast charging.
The Meizu PRO 6 is priced at CNY 2499 ($386) for 32GB version, and CNY 2799 ($432) for 64GB version. It is available for pre-order in China and will start shipping from 24th of April. No details regarding its availability outside China.
