Micromax on Thursday launched two new devices in India, a laptop and a convertible tablet, the Canvas Lapbook (L1161) and Canvas Laptab (LT777), priced at Rs 13,999 ($214 USD, #42,700 NGN) and Rs 17,999 ($275 USD, #54,800 NGN) respectively. The first will be available exclusively on e-commerce website Snapdeal starting next week, while the later will go on sale on Amazon India from the 13th of October.
The Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 and Canvas Laptab LT777 both runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box and have the same screen size, processor, RAM and built-in storage, however, there are some differences that seperate both as well. The Canvas Lapbook doesn’t support voice-calling while Laptab does. Also, the Canvas Lapbook only has a single camera which is equipped at the front, but the other comes with dual cameras, one at the front and the other at the back. Canvas Laptab keyboard can be detach while Canvas Lapbook keyboard can not.
