Microsoft on Saturday announced that its low-budget Nokia Lumia 830 is on sale in the U.K. The smartphone, which was globally unveiled at IFA event in early September can now be purchased at £24.99 on two years contract on network carriers like EE, Tesco, Vodafone, and others. If you don’t want to devote time on contract fees, you can purchase the SIM free at £325.
The smartphone features a 5-inch ClearBlack IPS Display with HD resolution, and runs latest Windows Phone 8.1 out-of-the-box. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 1GB of RAM.
The Lumia 830 houses a 10-megapixel OIS PureView rear camera with LED flash, and 1-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options included are WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, and GPS. It is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
