Microsoft has officially announced the global availability details of its latest Windows 10 build dubbed Windows 10 April Update. The company on Monday openly disclosed the scheduled roll out timeline of the update for the global market.
The new Windows 10 April Update once known as Windows 10 Spring Update will start rolling out via Windows Update from the 8th of May, but for those who are eager to get it installed before the aforementioned date, Microsoft has provided an alternative method to get it installed before then on any Windows machine.

Windows 10 users can get the new build (version 1803) installed on their PC right away by manually triggering the Windows Update on their machine. To download and install, simply go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update and click the “Check for updates” button. The download will start and installation will be done in background. After successful installation you will be asked to restart your PC. Do note that this may take some time depending on your internet speed and PC configuration.
From 8th of May onward, the Windows 10 April Update (1803) will be installed automatically on all Windows PC. To make sure you get the update, make sure the “metered network” is disabled and you have Windows Update enabled. You’ll be notified after the update is completely downloaded and asked to start the installation.
