The Moto E6 has been made official by Motorola in the US, the company’s newest entry-level device. The phone, made to cater to basic smartphone users, features a 5.5 HD+ (1440×720) IPS screen that Motorola like to call “Max Vision”, this has an 18:9 aspect ratio.

An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 64-bit processor with a clock speed of 1.4GHz powered the phone, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. A 2GB of RAM handles the multitasking, accompanied by 16GB of storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

At the back of the Moto E6 resides a single 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto focus and LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture occupied the front for selfie and video calling. There is no fingerprint sensor onboard, but it does support face unlock.

The phone is splash proof, thanks to P2i nano coating, and it also has dedicated dual SIM slot in some models. The Moto E6 have front-ported speaker and dual mic. In terms of connectivity, it offer Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (dual band), 4G VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. It measures 149.7 x 72.3 x 8.57 mm, weighs 159 grams, and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Moto E6 wears a price label of US$149.99 (MSRP). Sales begin today on Verizon Wireless in the U.S and from there will roll out to other select carriers in the region, including Boost Mobile, Xfinity Mobile, US Cellular, and T-Mobile. Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and B&H Photo will be selling the unlocked version sometime in August. It will arrive in Canada this summer.
