HMD Global has finally launched Nokia 7, the company’s latest addition to its Android smartphone line-up in China. This comes with a slightly smaller 5.2-inch 1080p screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 630 chipset unlike Nokia 8 its big brother that debuted in August.
Its chassis is made of 7000 series aluminium which also encompasses its edges, with Corning Gorilla Glass protecting its front and back panels. The phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat OS out-of-the-box, but is eligible to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update, which will be made available in the very near future.

It sports a 16MP Zeiss camera with a large f/1.8 aperture for brilliant shot in low-light, while a 5MP wide-angle camera is equipped at the front, also flaunting a moderate f/2.0 aperture. Much like the Nokia 8, the Nokia 7 front and rear cameras using Nokia Dual-Sight technology, can be simultaneously use to take photos or record videos to create a split screen visual, which the company likes to call Bothie.
The phone is offered in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM versions.

The Nokia 7 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM versions are priced at CNY 2499 (US$376) and CNY 2699 (US$406), respectively. It is available for pre-orders at popular stores i.e Tmall, JD e.t.c and will shipped from October 24th.
