Nokia 8 with Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM Surface: May Launch at MWC2017

Amidst latest trends of Nokia fully returning to world of Android at this year Mobile Week Congress (MWC) scheduled for late February, after launching its first at just concluded CES event last week, a new Nokia smartphone codename “Supreme” have find its way out of the internet. According to report reaching us, the Supreme which is expected to be named Nokia 8 will be among the smartphones that the company will be launching at its scheduled event on February 26 in Barcelona.

The Nokia 8 made an appearance at CES last week as a prototype, according to a YouTuber who shared some of its images and specs. With what was revealed, the phone may the first high-end smartphone to be launch by HMD Global in 2017. The Nokia 8 will comes in two variants, the first packing Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 24-megapixel rear-facing camera with 4K video recording capability, while the second will be packing Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB of RAM.

Common specifications expected to be on both variants are 5.7-inch Quad-HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display, 12-megapixel front camera, and dual speakers. The phone will runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box just like the recently announced Nokia 6, and there will be a fingerprint sensor and LED notification light onboard as well.

It is expected to come in 64GB and 128GB storage options with external MicroSD expansion slot (supports up to 256GB). These however are rumors and should be taking lightly. We can’t wait for MWC to arrive.
