Basically, the aim of the Npower scheme is to alleviate poverty and hardship in Nigeria. But at the same time, several intelligent youths will put their knowledge to good use, thereby improving the Nigerian economy.
Nigeria is, without a doubt, an agriculturally rich nation; however, many local farmers still embrace the old and archaic ways of farming.
Therefore, it is important to educate Nigerian farmers in order to boost productivity. Farmers around Nigeria will be enlightened and trained to keep up with recent agricultural trends; and this is where N-Power Agro Volunteers come in.
Fundamentally, N-Power Agro Volunteers will provide advisory services to farmers across Nigeria.
First of all, they will be trained by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. Thereafter, they’ll receive the mandate to disseminate that same knowledge. They will also gather data on Nigeria’s agriculture assets.
